We come to you
We are fully mobile across Melbourne, within approximately 50 to 60 kilometres of our base. Your vehicle is detailed where it sits, at home or at work, so you lose no time dropping it off and picking it up.

Every service uses professional detailing chemicals and coatings selected for the job, not consumer retail products. Product choice is deliberate on every panel and every surface.

No two vehicles arrive in the same condition, so we quote each one individually after a pre-service inspection documented with written notes and photographs. You get a firm price before any work begins.

Exterior Detail
Thorough exterior wash, decontamination rinse, tyre and trim dressing and a hand applied spray sealant.
Interior Detail
Full interior vacuum with all surfaces treated, including door cards, dash, console, windows, carpet and upholstery.
Full Detail
Complete inside and out. Exterior detailing and full interior combined for a total refresh of the vehicle.
Paint Correction
Single stage machine polish to remove swirl marks, water spots and minor scratches, restoring paint clarity and gloss.
Ceramic Coatings
Long term paint protection in 2, 5 and 8 year packages. Every package includes full decontamination and paint correction.
Motorcycle Detailing
Maintenance details, full details and correction with ceramic coating, treating chrome, metal and trim throughout.
Flagship Service
Protect your paint for up to 8 years
Every FarOut'd Protection package includes full decontamination and machine paint correction before the coating is applied. We assess your paint and quote the right package for it.

What can I say about FarOut Detailing. This guy is one of the best I've seen. Very meticulous with his work. Time isnt a issue he will stick around until the job is 100%. There was a small section around the front guard indicators that needed going over and this absolute legend came back out for a 10 minute fix. His price and dedication to his work is unmatched. My commodore as shown in the pics was sitting under a shade out in the bush for the last 20 years so the clear and colour fade was significant but no job to hard for this guy. Appreciate your hard work and your detailing. Thanks mate

Owner did an amazing job on my Wildtrak! Came in all muddy but he truly surprised me with the attention to detail when he was done. He even restored the faded trims/plastics for free and the car looked truly brand new. Pricing is a little premium but the result is truly outstanding 10/10 and the owner is a great guy and really easy to work with!

How much does car detailing cost?
Every vehicle is quoted individually, because no two arrive in the same condition. A well kept sedan and a neglected family SUV need very different amounts of work, and a fixed price list cannot reflect that honestly.
Tell us the vehicle and what you want done and we will give you a free, no obligation quote. You get a firm price before any work starts, and we will never add a charge without telling you first.
What affects the price of my quote?
Mainly the size of the vehicle and its current condition. Heavy pet hair, sand, mud, biohazards or severe staining take significantly longer, as does paint that needs correction before a coating can go on. Access at your location matters too. We will always explain what is driving the number.
What is the difference between a car wash and a full detail?
A car wash is a basic exterior rinse. A full detail is a complete interior and exterior service including decontamination, tyre and trim dressing, vacuuming, surface cleaning and protective sealant. The focus is paint protection and restoration rather than surface dirt alone.
Is a deposit required to book?
A 20 percent deposit is required for all ceramic coating packages and any service quoted at $899 and above. Smaller jobs do not require a deposit. Deposits are fully refundable if you cancel 24 hours or more before your booking. Full details are in our refund and cancellation policy.
How far do you travel?
We are fully mobile and come to you, anywhere across Melbourne within approximately 50 to 60 kilometres of our base. We detail your vehicle at your home or workplace. All we need is safe, clear access to the vehicle, somewhere safe to work, and access to water and power.
What happens if it rains on the day of my mobile booking?
Mobile services depend on weather. If conditions prevent safe or effective work, we will reschedule the booking and transfer any deposit to the new date at no penalty.
